Neon restoration and servicing
An old glass neon rarely needs to be scrapped. The same skill that lets us build a neon from scratch lets us save one that is decades old: cracked sections of tube are bent anew, by hand over the burner and exactly to the shape of the original, filled with noble gas, worn power supplies and corroded structures are replaced, and the sound sections stay. We also service illuminated signs made by others — letters, lightboxes and neons where a segment has gone dark or a fixing has worked loose.
Our longest restoration project was 130 glass neons restored for the Neon Museum in Warsaw. We also restored the historic neons of the Cepelia pavilion and put them back on the facade, and the glass neon cow from a former milk bar reached the museum's collection through our workshop.
Why choose this option?
Inspection on site or from photos — we establish which sections of tube are sound and which must be remade.
Removal and installation done by us, including from facades at height, with certificates and a lift.
New sections hand-bent to the shape of the original, then lit and checked in the dark before going back up.
Replacement of power supplies, cabling and corroded supporting structure — safety depends on them.
Servicing, repairs and maintenance of existing letters, lightboxes and LED neons, including ones made by others.
Honest advice: repair, recreate or replace — depending on the state of the glass, the value of the sign and the structure.

Frequently asked questions
- Can an old glass neon be repaired?
- In most cases, yes. The most common fault is a cracked tube — we bend it anew, by hand and exactly to the shape of the original, while the sound sections stay. We also replace worn power supplies and corroded supporting structures.
- What neon restorations have you done?
- The largest was 130 glass neons restored for the Neon Museum in Warsaw. We also restored the historic neons of the Cepelia pavilion and put them back on the facade, and the neon cow from a former milk bar reached the museum's collection through our workshop.
- How do you quote restoration or servicing?
- Only after seeing the actual piece — on site or from photos. Every old neon is different, so we ask for photos and a short description of the fault. The quote is free and carries no obligation.
- Do you service signs made by another company?
- Yes — letters, lightboxes and neons where a segment has gone dark or a fixing has worked loose. It is not always possible to recreate a part one-to-one, as we do not know the original design; then we propose a solution that restores the glow and does not stand out from the rest of the sign.
