Why is it worth betting on large-format advertising?
There is no better way to ensure visibility than size.
In advertising, what matters most is being noticed. The best idea is worth nothing if it does not reach as many recipients as possible. How it is judged afterwards is another matter – the point is that the judgement could happen at all. And there is no better way to ensure visibility than size. If something is big, everyone notices it. That is why, mostly in cities, you increasingly see huge advertisements covering several hundred square metres. They are called large-format – by the accepted definition their carriers should cover at least 100 m². Because of their size the number of display locations is limited, so they are most often seen on building facades, on windowless walls, or during renovation works.
Large-format advertising is distinguished above all by size – it is one of the largest forms of promotion on the market. The whole is perfectly visible even from a long distance, and thanks to placement on buildings in busy locations the number of people seeing it is genuinely high. That translates into effectiveness: customers subconsciously register the message even without consciously looking at the graphics. The areas around buildings are usually lit, so everything is clearly visible after dark too. Per square metre available it is one of the more attractive forms of promotion, especially as producing and installing the carrier is relatively cheap and simple. Large-format banners are made of fabric or vinyl – prepared properly, they can be used for a long time in any climate.
